Conditions of Use

Through this website, contractors, councils, merchants and other registered members, are permitted to advertise the sale of any surplus or old materials they own. Although The Trench will showcase new and improved products, this will be the only type of new product "advertising" we do, and it will be monitored closely. We will deactivate the accounts of anyone found using this site to sell new products on an ongoing basis.

When buying or selling goods on this site, you are given direct access to the buyer/seller, and once your transaction is completed, you will make no further unsolicited contact with that buyer/seller. Breach of this condition will result in account deactivation, with no refund possible on your existing registration or advertising fees already paid to The Trench.

Conduct

Threatening or abusive behavior made through privileged contact with other parties through The Trench will result in account deactivation, again with no refunds given on fees paid.

Intended Use

The Trench has been designed as a business support tool for the New Zealand Infrastructure community. We are very mindful of the existing balance of suppliers, manufacturers and merchants in New Zealand, and in no way seek, or endorse any kind if circumvention of these company relationships as they stand today.

Liability

The Trench is not liable for any disputes arising over the unsuitability, or condition of goods sold or traded through this website. We will not bear any responsibility for loss of income, or delays in time critical projects, or failure of products that result in damage or loss.
